Still figuring out your Halloween weekend cocktail specials? We thought you might need some ideas. Here’s some pretty, showy and delicious cocktail recipes. 

1) The Witches’ Brew Spritz (Glow Potion Edition)

Enchanted and sparkly, this one is built for the ‘gram. It tastes of citrus and floral, light and sessionable. Here are our suggested ingredients:

  • 2 oz Empress 1908 gin
  • 1 oz lemonade
  • 1 oz elderflower liqueur
  • Top with prosecco or sparkling lemonade
  • Optional pinch of edible glitter

Add gin, lemonade, and elderflower over ice. Top with prosecco so it shifts from indigo to violet. Stir gently. Garnish with a rosemary wand or a floating gummy eyeball. Batch the base in labeled Cambros. Garnish at pickup to protect sparkle and temperature.

2) The Vampire’s Kiss Prosecco (Blood Drip Glass Edition)

Dark glamour with a playful horror edge. Sweet tart raspberry with bubbles. Here are our suggested ingredients:

  • ½ oz Chambord or raspberry liqueur
  • 4 oz chilled prosecco
  • Corn syrup plus red food coloring for the blood rim

Mix corn syrup with red dye. Dip and drip the rim. Add Chambord. Slowly top with prosecco so it bubbles through the red liqueur. Garnish with a single raspberry or a black sugar rim. Pre-rim and chill glasses before service. Keep pours slow for the on-camera moment.

Smoky, citrus-forward, dramatic look Here are our suggested ingredients:

  • 1.5 oz mezcal
  • 0.5 oz Cointreau
  • 0.75 oz lime juice
  • 0.25 oz agave
  • 1 drop food-grade activated charcoal

Shake hard and fine strain into a coupe. Garnish with an orange flame twist. Combine everything except lime. Hold refrigerated up to two days.

4) Blood Moon Spritz

Tart, sparkling, crowd-friendly. Here are our suggested ingredients:

  • 1 oz Aperol
  • 0.75 oz blood orange juice
  • 3 oz prosecco
  • 1 oz soda

Build over ice in a wine glass. Garnish with a dehydrated blood orange wheel. For a zero-proof option: Swap Aperol for blood orange shrub and prosecco for soda during family hour.

5) Grave Digger Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Chambord or crème de cassis
  • 1 oz pomegranate juice
  • Squeeze of lime

Shake all ingredients hard with ice. Fine strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass. Garnish with blackberries on a pick or a spider ring on the stem for the visual. Batch the spirits and pomegranate in a liter for speed. Add lime to order for brightness.

9) Pumpkin Pie White Russian

Sweet and cozy dessert cocktail. Pumpkin spice with coffee and cream. Here are our suggested ingredients:

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz Kahlúa
  • 1 oz pumpkin spice creamer or pumpkin purée plus cream

Shake with ice for texture. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass. Add a cinnamon sugar rim and a mini cinnamon stick. For volume, prep a pumpkin cream in advance with consistent viscosity. Keep cold and give a quick whip before service.

10) Boo-berry Smash

Cute, pastel spooky, high crowd appeal. Blueberry lemonade with a kick. Here are our suggested ingredients:

  • 2 oz gin or vodka
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz blueberry syrup
  • Top with tonic

Shake spirit, lemon, and blueberry syrup with ice. Strain over fresh ice in a Collins. Top with tonic. Garnish with floating blueberries. Optional dry ice puff for drama. If using dry ice, handle with tongs and gloves. Use small display pieces that dissipate before service. Never seal in a closed container and never ingest.

  • 2 oz mezcal (or split base: 1 oz mezcal + 1 oz reposado tequila)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.75 oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or Grand Marnier)
  • 0.5 oz agave syrup
  • 1 bar spoon chili-infused honey (optional for spice)
  • Tajín or chili salt for rim

Rim a chilled rocks glass with lime and dip in Tajín or chili salt. Shake all liquid ingredients hard with ice until cold and slightly frothy. Strain over a clear cube into the prepared glass. Batch the base (mezcal, orange liqueur, agave) in advance for service speed.
